Talado 7, Oct 2025 {CBB}The Bay Regional Police Command has displayed a large number of drugs seized in large-scale operations carried out by the police in various neighborhoods of Baidoa city.
These operations targeted areas suspected of selling or storing drugs, and arrested people accused of being directly involved in the use and trafficking of drugs.
The commander of the Baidoa district station, Lieutenant Colonel Mukhtaar Dugudow, said that drug-related cases have increased significantly, which has led to the intensification of security operations. He noted that drug use has increased significantly in the city, which has caused security problems.
The police command said that those caught with drugs will be brought to court, to ensure justice and prevent the spread of drugs in the community.
The Bay Regional Police called on the Baidoa community to cooperate with security agencies and report anyone involved in drug-related activities.
