Talado 7, Oct 2025 {CBB}Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who delivered a speech at the opening of the East African Business Cooperation Conference, said that the main goal of the African Community is to unite all.
President Hassan Sheikh said that most of the foreign workers working in the country are from the East African Community member countries, which he indicated was an opportunity for the EAC.
He commended Somali businessmen for their outstanding work, such as their investment in education and other services needed by the community, and encouraged them to further develop their businesses.
“Today, non-Somali workers working in Somalia come from East African countries, and today, it is important for Somalia to continue to be part of the world,” said the President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
The East African Business Cooperation Conference was hosted for the second time in Mogadishu, and was attended by officials from the Federal Government of Somalia, representatives of the EAC countries, and other invited guests.
